Readr has been closed.

We started working on Readr back in June of 2007. Since then, quite a bit has changed. We've been working on lots of projects in the meantime, and other services such as FriendFeed have emerged that perform similar functions. Even Facebook has begun to offer a lot of the features we offered here—from importing feeds from other sites, to "thumbs ups"—and we have been quite impressed with their continued evolution.

In light of all these changes, and server bills that arrive every month, we made the tough decision to close Readr down. We appreciate all of your support over the life of our site.
