on saturday, amanda and i went to see portland cello project play at the triple door.

i love the triple door. i go there any time i have a reasonable excuse. but since jazz isn't my thing, i don't get to go very often. first sufjan stevens, then anima, now pcp. what can i say about them? they're some dudes and some ladies. sometimes they play by themselves, and sometimes they collaborate to bring lots of bows and strings to indie rock bands. they're quite entertaining, expecially when they cover britney spears:


the camera is shaking because i had to hold it at a funny angle, and also because i was busy rocking out.

incidentally, the audience was full of Grown-Ups who heard about the show on the local classical radio station, and have probably not been to an indie rock show before - they ate it all up. with a SPOON.
